About this role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Assistant Manager in Business Development to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the nutraceutical industry and a proven track record of driving business growth. Reporting to the Business Development Manager, this role will involve identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding our market presence.

Job Description:

  • Portfolio management Nutraceutical Actives and relevant excipients
  • Creating Convincing products and specialized client presentation
  • Researching the market and industry trends
  • Lead generation
  • Managing inventories to suffice market demand and placing the orders at the threshold level.
  • Field visits and promotional activities with customers
  • Participate in Exhibitions, trade shows, seminars, and customer-centric events.
  • Reviewing timeframes and budgets
  • Creating sales pitches
  • Executing sales objectives
  • Finding and following new sales leads
  • Arranging business meetings and one-on-one conversations with prospective clients
  • Building trust and long-term relationships with clients/customers
  • Managing records of sales, revenue, and other important data

About You

  • Bachelor’s in food/Nutrition/Pharmacy, Master of Science in Pharmacy is a plus.
  • Proven experience of 5-8 years in business development, sales, or marketing, in the nutraceutical industry.
  • Goal-oriented, organized team player
  • Eager to expand the company with new sales, clients, and territories.
  • Able to analyze data and sales statistics and translate results into better solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Self-motivated and self-directed
  • Experienced at compiling and following strict budgets.
  • Experienced at preparing and presenting quarterly goals and forecasts for future projects.
  • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
  • Fluent communication in person, on the phone, and in email
