The UK/Ire Barentz Animal Nutrition division is part of our wider pan-European and global presence, comprising Sevecom in Italy (www.Sevecom.it), Noack in Eastern Europe (www.Noackgroup.com) and Pestell in North America/Canada (www.Pestell.com). We focus on specialty feed ingredients, including medium-chain fatty acids, phytogenics, yeasts, and seaweed products. Aimed at antibiotic reduction, gut health, improving efficiency and methane mitigation in ruminant and monogastric production animals. We work business-to-business, dealing with compound feed manufacturers and premixers, throughout the UK and Ireland. About the role

As part of our team, you will:

  • Build and maintain strong account management with customers, ensuring they receive comprehensive product information.

  • Drive new business development, manage sales funnels, and deliver agreed budgets.

  • Collaborate with principals in managing projects and delivering on agreed sales targets in this region.

  • Actively engage with our supply chain team in forecasting demand and managing appropriate stock levels and pricing.

  • Develop relationships with key nutritionists and decision makers in the local animal industry.

  • Work closely with our Marketing Dept. to arrange participation in local trade fairs as appropriate.

  • Partner with QA to ensure compliance with EU legislation and establish trial protocols with principals.

About you

  • A BSc. or MSc. in Animal Nutrition, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in specialty sales within the Animal Nutrition industry.

  • Expertise in one or more of the following: premixes, mineral mixes, compound feed, aqua feed, or livestock ingredients.

  • Proven commercial track record, with strong technical knowledge and networking skills.

  • A proactive, self-starter who thrives in a collaborative team environment.

  • Willingness to travel frequently within both the UK and Ireland and to attend our offices regularly for meetings with support staff and colleagues.
