Job Purpose
This role acts as the financial lead for our Pharma division. The role oversees FP&A leadership for the Pharma division and manages the overall financial planning process and related management reporting process. It also includes ad hoc financial analysis to support profitable business growth. It will require regular travel with the Pharma Leadership Team. In addition, this role will drive the company wide business planning and performance cycle, including the strategic plan, budget, forecast, LE, and monthly business reviews.

Be the financial lead to the Pharma business.
Drive global improvement projects and strategic planning cycle as part of the global business control team.
Build partnerships to be successful in our matrix organization.
Manage timely and accurate financial reporting and analyses of the Pharma division for the Sales Teams.
Support in defining and driving the strategy of Pharma.
Responsibilities
Act as a leader and business partner in driving performance and achieving results through managing the overall financial planning process for the division(s). This includes preparing for and supporting business (Sales) review meetings with Divisional and Regional Management, analysing forecasts, and performing risk analysis.
Manage effectively within the matrix structure, agree on objectives, and be proactive in developing the agreed plans.
Support pricing management projects.
Support with data for key principal presentations and reviews.
Support Group Principal Managers.
Manage the annual budget and strategic planning process, as well as the weekly and monthly sales and margin forecasting for the division.
Provide clear metrics for the division to support reporting to Divisional Management, helping them understand the economics and make strategic and tactical decisions.
Drive business results based on financial analysis and data-driven insights.
Drive improvement projects on a global scale.
Participate in and drive strategic projects on a global scale.
Own the performance management drumbeat, including monthly business reviews, working closely with the Group CFO and Regional and Divisional Finance teams.
Support the annual budget and strategic planning process.
Prepare Monthly Board Reports for ELT and Supervisory Board.
Act as liaison to the PE sponsor on financial results and analyses, including peer analysis.
About You
Education / Experience
University degree as a minimum requirement.
Master’s in Business Administration, Finance or Economics preferred.
6+ years’ experience gained in a corporate finance environment, preferably within a multinational, matrix structured, European based company.
Experience in strategy consulting is a plus.
Experience in a life sciences company is a plus.
Skills
Strong knowledge of business performance management and financial reporting processes and tools.
Outstanding analytical skills: can source, analyse, and present complex information in an international environment.
Experience with formalising and implementing a strategy for a business line or business unit.
Ability to improve existing processes and implement new procedures and tools.
Proven track record in building dashboards.
Strong affinity with data structure and data science.
Enthusiastic, can-do attitude with a professional approach and a flexible mindset.
Sense of ownership combined with a focus on delivering results and making a positive impact on the company.
Strong interpersonal, intercultural, and team skills, with the ability to influence without authority.
Excellent oral and written communication skills and effectiveness in a team-oriented matrix management structure.
Fluent in English, written and spoken.
Other languages in addition to English are an advantage.
