Your Responsibilities

  • Independently sell an exciting portfolio of food ingredients from our global partners to companies in Germany and Austria.

  • These ingredients include unique solutions for clean(er) label, taste, color, texture, antioxidants, emulsification, and toppings. Some groundbreaking innovations are distributed exclusively by us!

  • You will be fully responsible for the entire bakery segment, from global corporations to start-ups.

  • You will develop your market by proactively engaging with contacts in marketing and R&D – both existing and potential customers – to present attractive ingredient solutions. After your visits, you will document the meetings in visit reports.

  • Using your sales and marketing know-how, you will prepare supplier portfolios and presentations to successfully communicate key selling points in customer meetings.

  • If your customer needs customized innovations or formulations, you will support as a liaison between the customer, our partners, and our global technical teams.

  • You will contribute to internal sales meetings by presenting your figures transparently. You will work closely with the Sales Support team and report to the Area Manager Germany, using our management tools.

What You Bring

  • You have relevant professional experience in sales of food ingredients in the bakery segment, ideally with a food ingredients manufacturer or distributor.

  • You have completed a commercial apprenticeship or hold a degree in business-related studies. Alternatively, a degree in food technology or nutritional sciences is also highly relevant, provided you have solid sales experience.

  • You are interested in the German and European markets – you stay informed about consumer trends, regulatory developments, and competitor offerings, and use this knowledge to develop consulting and sales approaches.

  • You have a strong sense for customer needs, such as cost-in-use, clean label, taste, color, preservation, and recipe optimization, enabling you to offer precisely tailored products, solutions, and services.

  • You think and act with an entrepreneurial mindset.

  • In an international company with many global partners, your intercultural understanding, excellent communication and teamwork skills, and strong social competence will be great assets.

  • Fluency in German and English (spoken and written) is required; additional languages are an advantage.
