Purpose of Job

Providing support in processes and teams associated with Quality and Regulatory Management for the Pet Food Division EMEA.

Key Area of Responsibility

• Handle customer requests regarding quality & regulatory inquiries based on established service levels.
• Advise & support staff internally with quality & regulatory matters.
• Conduct review and approval of suppliers

Main responsibilities

Division-specific quality and regulatory management systems.

• Handle customer requests regarding quality & regulatory inquiries based on established service levels.
• Assist in managing the library of quality & regulatory statements, and documents on our Supplier Portal and our Intranet.
• Handle customer questionnaires based on established service levels.
• Advise & support staff internally with quality & regulatory matters.
• Provide support in other projects and activities related to the development and maintenance of division-specific quality management systems.
• Communicate changes, notified by suppliers, to customers.
• Verify the regulatory compliance of products intended for the Human Nutrition division.
• Collaborate in the continuous monitoring of food alerts for the immediate management of food ingredient safety risks.

Corporate Quality Management System (QMS)

• Assist with the management of quality standards to meet the requirements, as applicable (e.g., GMP+, ISO, Food Safety, BRC).
• Liaise with Barentz Sales Managers, Sales Support, Customer Service, and Supply Chain to ensure that customer requirements are met.
• Provide support with managing inquiries relating to Supplier documentation from Barentz, Sales Managers, Sales Support, Customer Service, and Supply Chain
• Assist in managing the liaison between Barentz and their Suppliers to address customer questionnaires and quality & regulatory inquiries.
• Organize and execute (internal) Quality and Regulatory training.
• Provide guidance to the divisions on customer quality expectations and assist in the development of the delivery strategy.
• Verify new suppliers and new stock items (on quality and compliance aspects)
• Provide support in other projects and activities related to the development and maintenance of a Corporate ISO based Quality Management System (QMS)
