About this role

Job Purpose

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Information Security Officer to join our international team. The successful candidate will report to the CISO and be responsible for developing and contributing to the development, implementation, and improvement of our Information Security Management Framework. They will play a crucial role in maintaining the Barentz policies and in defining and monitoring information security controls across the group.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and update information security policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.
• Define information security controls, related testing procedures, and metrics.
• Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents and breaches.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate security measures into all aspects of the business.
• Coordinate Business Continuity activities, including BIAs, plans, and tests.
• Implement and manage security tools and technologies.
• Provide security training and awareness programs for employees.
• Lead Information Security awareness and training programs.
• Coordinate and facilitate third-party security assessments.
• Stay current with the latest security trends and threats.
