Vitablend operates from purpose built and state-of-the-art production facilities in The Netherlands and Asia.
In 2008 Vitablend, who own two major production facilities, became part of the Barentz Group. The Dutch production facility of Vitablend is located in Wolvega. At the end of 2012 a second state-of-the-art production facility will be brought online in Singapore. This will give us significantly increased production capacity as well as widening our product offering.

Vitablend’s production facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment. The pre-mix production process meets the exceptional quality standards that are required for the production of infant and clinical nutrition and production takes place in a ‘clean-room’ environment, with controlled temperature and regulated air refreshment.
Pre-mix, antioxidant and food technology production processes are guided by a full track and trace barcode system throughout every production stage, including incoming materials, washing cycles and equipment.
Production is flexible, with milling size and packaging that can be adjusted to meet any specific customer requirement. Several test methods are used for performance testing such as Rancimat, Oxipres, shelf life prediction, classical test, Peroxide value and Anisidine value.
Vitablend is ISO-FSSC 22000, ISO 9001-2008 and GMP+ certified and complies with all of the current European food regulations.

Vitablend is also the Center of Excellence for Barentz. The expertise and facilities of Vitablend are central to the design and development of customised solutions we create, together with our suppliers and customers.
