Barentz Achieves Gold EcoVadis Rating, Reinforcing Commitment to Sustainability

Hoofddorp, Netherlands – April, 22, 2025 – Barentz, a leading global specialty ingredients solutions provider, is proud to announce that it has been awarded a score of 81/100 by EcoVadis®, a renowned provider of business sustainability ratings. This outstanding score places Barentz in the 98th percentile of evaluated companies, earning the prestigious Gold level recognition.
  
EcoVadis® assesses companies across four key areas: environmental protection, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. Barentz not only undergoes this rigorous evaluation but also partners with EcoVadis® to assess its suppliers, aiming to enhance sustainability throughout the chemical industry supply chain. This collaboration supports Barentz's commitment to evaluate 80% of its suppliers for ESG performance by 2025.
